This month, the Helios Team came across Zozef, a perky fisherman of Case Noyale.
He was bent upon his fishing net, mending his net, while his fishing buddies were already hard at work, dipping their hooks and throwing their nets into the glittering sea.
Zozef assiduously sews the net whole again, in the shadows of the banian, his lunch bag tied to the rope. The long strands lianas of the banian tree hang, a curtain, a throwback to old Case Noyale, when fish used to abound in the lagoon and the nets or fishing rods came out, laden with gleaming fish.
